The CCHS media center provides a variety of resources and materials to its students and faculty members. Summarized below is a brief description of the resources available. The CCHS media center is a new, 12,400 square facility that serves students in grades 7-12.

* The media center contains 3 computer labs, a reading room, two smaller project rooms with computers, and over 100 computer workstations for students. All of the computer are connected to the Internet and provide students with a variety of electronic information ranging from periodical databases, scanners, digital video editing stations, and an assortment of software programs.

* An estimated 13,000 volumes (books) including numerous reference books.

* Approximately 20 magazine subscriptions

* The media center provides students access to a digital cameras, digital camcorders, digital video editing equipment, AV equipment including data projectors, and various art supplies.

* The media center houses a collection of ACT, PSAT, SAT, and AP test preparation materials.

* Students may print and copy free of charge in the media center; we charge $.50 per page for color copies (More Information)

* The media center houses a modest collection of Classical CDs

* In addition to taping shows for teachers, the CCHS media center contains a small collection of videos, educational software, and CD/DVD duplicating equipment.

* A reading room with comfortable seating, lots of windows, and room for an entire class.

* A digital video editing lab.

* In addition to 3 computer labs in the media center, CCHS has two additional computer labs and CCMS has an additional computer lab. There are also computers located in the high school study hall room.
